Anyone have experience with dining reservations right before "closing" at a buffet? Have you had any issues with your experiences? I'm making a Boma reservation for 9pm when they "close" at 9:30pm. I know they don't actually shut down and start kicking people out at 9:30 since that's just the time they stop taking reservations. Should I expect the same experience, quality of food and service as if we were going earlier in the night?

Yes, you should expect the same quality of food and service no matter what time you go. If you don't get it be sure to talk to a manager before you leave.

I did a Boma reservation that late before and it was great! Albeit this was also like 9 years ago, but like @OKW Lover said if you're at all unhappy speak to the manager.

We just dined at Boma and Cape May buffets this last May. Always eat late between 8-9 PM. Restaurants are still quite full then. Maybe around 9 pm tables start opening up, but until then all tables have been full. Buffets are fresh and never feel rushed. I usually even have coffee with dessert.
