I have a very finicky DH when it comes to food. He eats alot of the items on the childrens menu at the buffets. Are adults allowed to take food from the childrens buffet?

The Disney buffets like most buffets are made up of different areas, a vegetable sections, salad section, meat etc. and including what would typcally pass as children fare. Anyone can take what they want, no matter the age. You can choose from roast beef to chicken nuggets and from cous-cous to spaghetti meatballs or mac and cheese and pizza. Anyone can pick what they want to eat! Even at Boma where they feature African Food, yum! there are still many strictly American foods including the above kids food I mentioned to statisfy finicky eaters.

Your husband will be charged the adult price but he can eat anything to his hearts content!

I don't foresee a problem. Actually, I nicked something off the kids buffet at the Chrystal Palace and didn't even think about it. They don't stop kids taking off the adult buffet and I think the whole point of the kid's area is to provide simple choices that cater for the picky eaters. I would say he would be fine. Do you have kids? If it makes you feel any better you could always let him do a few trades with the kids. My DD wants something off the adult buffet and it has never been a problem. I always check with my server or the serving staff just as a matter of courtesy and I am pretty certain it would be true the other way around.

Anyone can eat anything from any part of the buffets; there aren't separate kids or adults sections. All of the buffets have a section with foods that are more kid-friendly, but there no restrictions on who eats what.

Heck yes! Where else can you get the gooey Mac and Cheese?!? Seriously, no one cares from where on the buffet you get your food. Have fun!:thumbsup2

We are heading down to Disney to celebrate my DD's 4th birthday with 10 adults and her--the only child. (Very skewed numbers, I know). I am considering several of the buffets because I am hoping it will give everyone a chance of finding something they will like but also because quite a few of the character meals are buffets.

I am looking at the following ones: 1)1900 Park Fare, 2)Crystal Palace, 3)Tusker House, 4)Hollywood and Vine, and 5)Askerhus (not necessarily in this order). Which are the best? Which buffets should I really consider? Also, I like the idea of doing breakfast at the following: Crystal Palace, Tusker House and Askerhus. Is this too many? We are fan of breakfast foods.

Askerhus is ideal for girls, Tuskerhouse is our favorite, both are excellent for breakfast. I don't personally care for the others so I won't comment any further!

. . . . . . Are adults allowed to take food from the childrens buffet?

Sure. You still pay the adult price. And I have never seen the Buffet Police standing at the children's section. I wish there were. I have seen kids taste stuff off of the spoons. So beware!
