We are on the dining plan, am I correct in thinking that at the buffets I can get my dd, who is 1, a plate or would we need to pay for her oop? I do not want to break any rules.

You are correct in thinking so. Children under 3yrs can have their "own" plate at the buffets. It falls under the "they eat off your plate"...but you can take a plate up and get the food on it for them. Also if you ask the server I believe they will get a drink for her as well. Just double check on that...but I think so.

Have a good trip!!

All children under 3 eat (and drink) for free at buffets and other "admission" meals, whether you're using the dining plan or not.

I saw one report (and it was only one report, plus I don't recall which restaurant it was) where someone was told at a buffet that they would be charged if they got a plate for the child, the kid was expected to eat off THEIR plate. But that's the only report I've seen where someone was told they couldn't get a plate for their infant at a buffet.

Thank you for easying my worries. I mainly wanted to make sure I followed the rules and that I could just choose food for her. She probably wont eat off a plate anyway, she has a placemat thing she eats off of. Thank you again makes me feel 1000 times better! :goodvibes
