Buffet food for kids

Do most of the buffets have stereotypical "kid food". My kids are not good eaters and will likely be tired after long days at the park. I don't want to fight with them to eat so I want to be sure that most of the buffets have some food choices they will actually eat. (I've looked up the menus for the a la carte places). I'm talking things like chicken fingers, pizza, burgers, etc.
We will be dining at places like: Ohana, Boma, Akershus, 1900 Park Fare, etc.

DH and I want to enjoy the food there which is why we booked these places, but I want to be sure the kids will find something they'll eat too.

Thanks!

Yes. Pizza, mac & cheese, chicken tenders are standard.. Ohana & Akershus are the 2 I'm not sure about.

Ohana is not a buffet, but family style. I don't know what they offer outside the stated menu, I am sure others know.
Akershus: Only went for breakfast, but it was a mix of traditional breakfast items
1900: They had kids items, usually pizza and chicken strips

Most places will have a small kids area

Full buffet places like Boma, 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickey's will have kid choices...out of the buffets, I think 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace are the most kid friendly food (Hollywood and Vine might have as well, but it gets horrible reviews)...Biergarten and Boma will have something for them to eat that they are familar with, but not as big a selection if your kids don't like those kinds of foods
Ohana...at least for dinner...our experience is that the server will offer to get you something like chicken fingers or fries or hot dogs and will bring brownies and/or plain ice cream for dessert (although meat, veggies, noodles...my kids are fine with that)
Akershus...isn't exactly a buffet, there is a cold buffet and they serve plated food (at lunch and dinner)...I would look up the menu to be sure you can find something to satisfy the kids

Thanks for the info so far.

@Nebraska_Disney - What do you mean by "family style"? Do you order a bunch of dishes to the table to share?
At Ohana, there is a set menu and they bring your large plates of salad, noodles, veggies, wings to share then come around with the meat on skewers and serve it. Then a big bowl of bread pudding and ice cream. You don't get up and get to choose from a buffet or menu

Akershus has a small buffet sections for the pre-meal stuff and then you order an entree. I think dessert is a limited selection brought to your table

Garden Grill is also family style...they bring large platters of a set menu of food (they have a kids selection and adult selection) and will bring more of whatever you want

At Disney, family style never means order. There is a preset menu (Garden Grill, Ohana-both meals, the dinner shows) that a waiter serves to you on large platters which your table shares. You can asked not to be served something or ask for more of one item, but you don't get up and you don't have a buffet selection, the menu is more limited

Ah. That makes sense thanks! So you can eat as much as you want but from a pre-set menu that they bring you?

It's all you can eat right? Beer and wine too?

yes, you just ask for more of what you want.

And, like I said, Garden Grill already brings some kid items out if you have kids and Ohana (dinner) the server will usually ask you if you have kids if they want something (I think they get that food next door).

At most buffets, all you can eat, family style, the price only includes soft drinks and food (not tip or alcohol)
At Hoop de Doo Revue and the Luau and the backyard BBQ (dinner shows), the price will include beer and wine (and the tip)

Yes they do. If you have not made your ressies yet, I HIGHLY recommend Boma. Ive been to Tusker House a million times and always stayed clear of Bomas as I thought it would be the same and I'm not really a fan of Tusker House. Only go there because its the only TS available at AK for breakfast. I tried Boma for the first time last September. WOW. Their buffet is HUGE and has EVERYTHING! The atmosphere is the icing on the cake!

Yes, buffets offer kid type food. Also, Ohana offers kids plates too. My kids got A hotdog and fries and chicken nuggets and fries and for desert they brought them a more "kid friendly desert" being ice cream and cupcakes.

The only Disney Buffet we have been to that really didn't have any typical kid selections was Biergarten.
