Would you do it? I'm hesitant - the dessert party is not inexpensive and I fully intend to stuff my belly full of $20 worth of sweets! :rotfl: I don't think I'd be able to after a buffet dinner. Maybe if I stayed away from desserts at the buffet, but I'd also have to convince my 6-year-old son to do the same!

Could you do the buffet at lunch then just do a late heavy snack that day? We did a late lunch/early dinner the day we did the dessert party, and our dessert party was later - around 9. I don't think I could have handled a heavy meal followed by the dessert party.

I would not. You will be going straight from one buffet to another. We have done the dessert party twice and loved it both times, but we had a late lunch and no dinner so we could stuff ourselves full of sweets.

I'd change the 5:25 buffet to lunch as well. You'll be way too full to enjoy all those desserts. When I did this with DS, we had a bigger lunch , then split a hotdog meal at Caseys, and I still couldn't eat that much dessert (though I tried!)

Thanks guys - I agree, it'd be way too much.

Now I have to figure out where we should eat that day...

No way would I do that either, unless the dessert party was merely booked for the fireworks view and not the desserts.
