Buffalo Wild Wings?

We ate there once, and I was trying to remember what they had... Now that I see all the replies I remember. It's all bar food.
not that that is bad... It is good bar food. But no fancy entrees

Mikeeee

Who needs fancy entrees when you can have good food?? LOL. Fancy food... blah.

Think of it this way...we live in the home of the wings and BWW is busy here, they must be doing something right.

Exactly :thumbsup2

Now that I know that BW-3s and Buffalo Wild Wings are the same place..... I love their food!!! I used to go there all the time when I was at Ohio State. I love their wings and I always got the original hot.:goodvibes

I love the trivia thing. It's played through the tv and there's about 15 game pads. Just ask when you get seated. I used to love playing it at Wide World back when the all-star cafe was still around... I miss that place.

Any case, their food is good and Kari's favorite thing is the smilies. The kids meals come with smily shaped fries.

While the sauces are great, I didn't care for the actual wings. They were too meaty.
:rotfl:

Um; I don't exactly think that's much of a problem . . .

DH always gets the wings without sauce. They stand on their own.

I always get the chicken tender salad; and toss the wings in sweet BBQ.

i have to be in the right mood to go there - it's really loud. I've never been a fan of wings because they are sooooo greasy, but i love the boneless bites. ask for the sauce on the side - they will let you get 2 or 3 to try. I really like the mango habanero - it's a must if you like sweet heat!

I also really like the buffalo chicken wrap - you can choose what sauce you want in this also.

Eh..we just went last night here in WI. It was okay...The wings were good but very small and the medium sauce was WARM!!! The ribs, yuck...not good at all.

We used to live in NW Ohio (Toledo) and we got spoiled on the wings at Frickers (another sports bar in Perrysburg, Bowling Green and maybe Findlay)...DH is actually back there this week and is probably going to stop for dinner one night.

I laughed at the BW3 thing, thats what it was in Toledo...though I never could figure out what the 2 W's were.:confused3. We really didn't eat there much, maybe 2 or 3 times in the whole 36 years we lived there.. LOL.

Crud. You just reminded me of what I don't like about our local BWW (aka why BWW is not BW3).

No Beef on Weck.

It's all high fat, hi calories, and it's ALL good!:rotfl::thumbsup2

For those who like Buffalo Wings, I make my own sauce. Here is the recipe:

2 cups of dried cayenne peppers - I have even added a few chipotles here.
1 cup of water
1 chopped onion
3 cloves chopped garlic1 cup of white vinegar... or cider.... I even once used red wine vinegar
1 stick of butter
1 bottle of Louisiana Hot Sauce ( or any thing like Franks Red Hot ) 16 oz. or so.
1/2 of the juice of 1 lemon
2 - 3 TBS of honey
1/3 cup of ketchup

Put it all in a pot and simmer for about 15 minutes. Then let it cool. Process in a food processor.

We eat there on a regular basis. We always get the traditional wings with the sweet BBQ sauce (I can't eat the spicy stuff).

My only complaint about the place is that sometimes they are really slow!

I like the seasonal item, the flatbread pizza with sweet bbq sauce.

The NTN games are fun also.

BTW...There is a BWW in the Crossroads plaza near DTD off 535. :)

This is the one I go to. I warn you. During the lunch and early afternoon hours, it can take 45 minutes to get your food. It isn't because they are busy. They just don't have the wings ready.

Wow I can't wait to go. Sounds like some good reviews :thumbsup2. No wonder the Buffalo Wild Wings by me is always crowded. I love buffalo wings so I will definitely try those. DH doesn't like buffalo wings- too spicy. I will do what the one poster suggested, order plain wings with 2 or 3 sauces on the side. I would love to try the different sauces since it will be my first time.

Glad to hear the chicken sandwiches are pretty good. DH likes a good chicken sandwich.

All this food talk is making me hungry :rotfl::rotfl:

It's BDubs-BW3's here.

I LOVE Parmesean Garlic boneless wings, buffalitos and those Spicy Chicken Dippers appetizer they have.

Yum! I've been wanting to go for awhile but waiting to have my gallbladder out... then I go crazy!!!!!!!

B-Dubs is awesome. There's one by my university, and that, along with Old Chicago ("OC") is the restaurant of choice for groups of friends to go to.

I personally like the boneless wings, in the medium wing sauce. It just tastes like any wing sauce, like Cookie's Wings N Things.

Their mozzarella sticks are also really good, but then again, I suppose there's nothing special about them.. Mozzarella sticks are just always good. :]

After reading through everyone else's, I was wondering if they just sucked in Colorado. I've been to three different ones in three different cities, and I just thought the servers were ignoring us or had gone on break, but it has happened every time. The wings were tasty but it torqued me off so much that I refuse to go back. It did take us at least 45 minutes to get a little dish of boneless wings every time, and they were ridiculously slow with drinks and everything else too. I can get wings plenty of other places that don't have an insane wait, so I patronize other places instead.

Caution.. After I had my gallbladder out, those spicy foods became less of a draw. If you don't know what I mean, you will.
