Hi all!

After booking our flight, I've started to look for a Buffalo park & fly hotel. The cheapest deal I've been able to find that includes 2 weeks parking (even though I only need 11 days) is $200CAD plus tax. I'm looking for late August/early September. Is this as good as it gets or does anyone have some other suggestions?

Conversely, we're booked for $100 at a Detroit hotel including 2 weeks parking later this month.

What I have been doing lately is using priceline for my room then parking at the airport.

I can usually get the room for under $50 then $38 for a weeks parking.

The Comfort Suites is $149 park 'n fly and the Sleep Inn is $135

I am a TA in Brantford but any TA should be able to book that for you....ask your agent about it.

Hi, I just booked my Park N' Fly for Christmas and am paying $122.99 with tax at the Sleep Inn (on Holtz Drive), which includes 1 night hotel, continental breakfast, shuttle and 2 weeks parking.

I booked Econo Lodge for October, with all taxes in, the cost comes to $93ish and that includes a night's stay, continental breakfast, shuttle to the airport plus 2 weeks parking. I went to parksleepfly.com.

Enjoy your trip!

Have you ever found the parking lot at the airport to be full? When we flew out at spring break the long term parking was full and the sign said the overflow was closed, but I guess we had gotten there just as the one was getting full and they had not changed the sign, but it got me thinking what would the options be.

I like the idea of Price Line as it allows you to park at the airport, I am a little leary of hotel's long term parking security, and I would think most of the hotels only have 1 shuttle so if you just miss it you would have to wait I am sure much longer than if you miss the airport parking shuttle.

ParkSleepFly.com is great, I usually book through them and find pretty good deals. The hotels are all only a few minutes drive from the airport and the shuttles usually run every 15 mins or 20 mins, I don't think you will have a problem there.

I've never had a problem with the airport parking lots being full - last time we had to park in the far lot, but the shuttles were great and took no time at all!

Last time (fall 2006) I booked Sleep Inn for $89 + tax. Called them this week and their rate is $136 + tax. Now thinking of driving in the morning. do not want to be caught in a line up crossing the border. The flight time is not until noon. What is our opinion on the 3rd party (Fasttract) parking lots instead of parking at the airport.

We have yet to go and have the parking lot full.

I've never used priceline. I tried to use it and, if I'm doing it right, then I can't choose a specific hotel at a lower price, I have to choose an area.
Is this right? I just don't want to get the dreaded Ramada! Also would prefer a hotel with a pool since then the hubby and kids can swim while I go shopping. ;)
thanks

Yes you are correct. You cannot choose the hotel only the area.

We are only looking for a quick, clean place to sleep.

Through a TA we booked the Days Inn across from the Buffalo airport for $118. This includes one night accommodation and 7 nights of parking and free shuttle to the airport. The shuttle runs 24 hours a day with 15 minute notice. Be careful because not all hotels offer this. Some only run shuttles between certain hours.
