Okay I have a few questions I was thinking of staying at the sleep inn but now I am thinking about clairon. Who can tell me about clairon?????? Shuttle, breakfast, pool, park and fly????????????????

I have the same question..
Anyone care to give their opinions on these two Buffalo PARK AND FLY HOTELS? Or any others?
Thanks so much!

If it's the Clarion on Transit...IMHO it's gross. Stick with the Sleep Inn, I've stayed there 2x in the last month.

All I need is CLEAN ! GROSS is not good. The pictures weren't the best either. I think I'll check out Sleep Inn. Does it have a pool? Or something for my 3 boys?
Thanks so much for you reply.

Sleep Inn for us each and every trip! :thumbsup2

There is no pool at the Sleep Inn, just a whirlpool I believe. There are free fresh cookies baked every night for the guests of the hotel at Sleep Inn.

I was at Sleep Inn earlier this month. There is no pool just a hot tub. From shuttle pick up, airline check in and through security in just over an half hour.

Good to know...
Anyone else?

Just thought I would give you some info about the Clarion on Transit since it is my home away from home. You see I am going to school in Buffalo and I stay at the Clarion two nights a week. It is not totally gross, it is just fine for my purposes and would be for yours too. If it fits into your budget, which it does for myself and several other Canadians who call it home every week, I would stay there. My family has stayed with me on a couple of occasions, my children love the waffles with whip cream. There is a nice continental breakfast and complimentary wine and cheese on weeknights. The indoor pool and whirpool area is kept clean and is rarely used, so no worries about crowds. I have never stayed at the Sleep Inn, so I can't compare for you. But I do know that the Clarion is more than adequate. If you are looking for something closer we like to stay at HI express across the street from the airport, b/c we can stay using points my husband earns through work travel.

I would be happy to answer any other questions you might have.

Thanks for the info. I'm really stuck. We are planning to stay at a hotel AFTER our disney trip( reverse park and fly). It's just really hard to know what to expect. I am trying to keep costs down , other wise I would stay at the HI . (it's $140 for the park and fly 2 weeks). We stayed at a super scary DAYS INN in Orlando (had ok reviews ) and my kids were pretty upset and had a real hard time sleeping .Everything just felt YUCKKY! I think we just might park and fly at the airport. It works out to be a little cheaper then the hotels.I just wanted the convience of the hotel ( and an extra night out!)Clarion had some pretty bad reviews on trip advisor..who knows!
Thanks again for your input.

Just another thought - not sure what their rates are like for people other than Medaille students - but the Fairfield Inn is very clean, smaller rooms than the Clarion, but newer. We stay 4 in a room so we like the Clarion for the extra desk, etc. but when there are only 2 of us some weeks we stay at the Fairfield across the street. Check it out, it's a Marriott hotel.

Unfortunatly, we are a family of 5 and they won't let us stay :sad2: ( max. 4 to a room). What about the Quality inn, or Best Western?
Anyone?
Thanks

Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn are our choices. The Hampton Inn quite often when we are travelling as a family because they have complimentary Hot Breakfast in the mornings... and the cookies in the eveing.

The Garden Inn is very nice too, directly across from the Airport and beside the McDonalds.

Just my 2 cents.
