So we have to move our flight forward a day and right now it would cost a fortune to move it. Last time we flew jetblue they changed our flight times and we were able to move it to the night before with no charge. What are the chances that the flight times will change this trip???

I am considering waiting it out to see but wondering what people think???

I have never had a JetBlue flight change more than 10 minutes - have flown it about 10 times all to Orlando. Risk is VERY low (unless you are flying midwinter and weather is a factor).

thanks…we flew jet blue last year and they changed ours by 30 mins so we got to bump it to the night before for no charge so I am hoping the same happens this time!!.

i would hate to pay all the change fees and then have it move anwyays…I was contemplating rebooking with southwest and then just banking the jet blue money for next year but not sure which one is most cost effective?!

I am the opposite, I have flown JetBlue numerous times. Only one time did they not change my flight. Last year was the worst for our March Break flights. I bet they re secheduled them 5 times. Had me coming home two days later then planned. Took away non stops. Added non stops that I switched back to. It was nuts. I booked with Southwest this year.

how far in advance were you notified of the changes??

We need to push it forward to the next day but if they change the times I can do that for free so I am hesitant to do it right away…I looked up our last flight changes and it was about 3 months ahead that they changed them??

do you think I will be okay waiting for them to change them??

We were never notified of them, I cause them myself. They were very good at changing them. When are your flights for?

Did you change them yourself? Or did they??

Our flights aren't until March. But southwest releases soon so wondering what to do??

Flying JB back from FLL in a couple of weeks post cruise. Generally a little more $ than SW but worth it. Upcoming flight is the first time we had an issue.

Original flight had us connecting in BOS back to BUF. They ended up moving the BOS - BUF flight forward to the point that we wouldn't make the connection. They booked us on the next flight from BOS - BUF which was 2+ hours later. They sent an email asking us to confirm the change or call them if there was an issue. Called and had us moved to a flight connecting through JFK that gets us in to BUF 20 min earlier than our original flight. Even though the JFK flight cost twice as much as the BOS flight (reason we didn't book it to begin with) there were no additional costs. Great service overall. Have that JFK flight booked again for next March.

They were very good changing for us last time too but I have read that they don't change the flight times that much in which case I would then have to pay the change fee and price difference which I don't want to do and then find out I could have changed for free if they do move the times…

I phoned and they changed them for me. They were wonderful to deal with.

did you pay for the change or was it changed because they changed the flight times??

they are great to deal with but I am just wondering how likely it is my flights will change or if I should just bite the bullet and rebook :(
