Buffalo Area DISers Please Help

I have a few questions and was wondering if you could help me out.

I may be in your area soon and I need to buy some Weber's mustard and Shalen's Hot Dogs while I'm there. Can these be found at any Wegmans or Tops? Or would they have to be bought somewhere else?

Do the Shalen's come frozen? Can you buy pre-frozen freezer packs to keep them frozen?

Do they sell Hershey's Special Dark Syrup in your area? At Wegmans or Tops?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Also, a friend heard about a great taco stand. Can you give me any information on that? Thanks again!!!

You should be able to find all those things at either Tops or Wegmans, The hot dogs are not frozen at the store but you can freeze them yourself. Mighty Taco is our favorite Taco place, there are many stores in the area. Also don't miss going to Ted's for one of their Hot dogs and onion rings,YUM YUM

Well, just let me say "Welcome to the Queen City" when you get here.

I recommend taking the hot dogs out of the bag they come in and put them in a Ziploc freezer bag. they seem to freeze more evenly and last longer.

Make sure you get "real" Wings and pizza while you are here. LaNova's is the best around but you can find great wings around every corner just about.

Oh and while you're at Tops or Wegmans - don't forget to pick up a bottle of Chiavetta's barbeque sauce. It's another local "must have". You'll think you died and went to heaven. I could drink the stuff.

Thanks everyone! My grandparents lived there until about 10 years ago. My grandfather always went out and did the shopping or at least did the driving and I never paid much attention to which stores we went to for what.

So you DO have Hershey's Special Dark Syrup up there? Is it in the cans or do you have it in bottles? I need to know for packing room on the trip back.

All this time I thought those hot dogs came frozen. Guess he just always got the early and froze them for us. I agree that it is best to rebag them for freezing.

I have decided that I have to have a sub and or a slice of pizza while I'm there. Don't know why they just can't make them the same down here.

Heidi I better not gain any weight. I just lost 22 lbs and I don't want it back!

Mighty Taco is the best!! I could go for a might pack right now! We have been gone for 8 years now and we always stop there first when we go back (even before stopping at mom's)
