I was wondering what hotel was the most popular for Park and fly in Buffalo. I have searched prior threads and come up with some options. Post your pick and tell us why.

My vote would be for the Sleep Inn and Suites Buffalo airport!:thumbsup2 Great service, nice brekkie in the morning and decent rates....we've stayed there 3 times before getting our SW flight to MCO!:)

Interested to see people voting here.
We'll be using the Park and Fly package at one of the hotels in September.

My vote would be for the Sleep Inn and Suites Buffalo airport!:thumbsup2 Great service, nice brekkie in the morning and decent rates....we've stayed there 3 times before getting our SW flight to MCO!:)

I haven't heard of this one. I will check it out.

I hope more people come out and vote.:)

I used Millenium last time, but I don't know that it was my favourite. I would probably try a different one next time.

We've tried the Sleep Inn (recommended by fellow Disers!) Price was right - nice and close to airport - brekkie was a bonus. Only issue was the double beds, we're used to sleeping in a queen and the double meant the kids were squished together too - bigger beds would have meant a better nights sleep. But who was sleeping - we were too excited about our trip!!!
Last Feb our flight was back in buffalo 6 hours later than planned - we had booked a room at Sleep Inn thinking we would veg out for the night, maybe shop a bit, before heading back home. We called from JFK airport to cancel our room - knowing we wouldn't bother staying at the hotel - we just wanted to drive straight home. No issues to cancel - no fee - less than 8 hours notice and they didn't give us a hard time.

Yes we were really pleased with the hotel. The breakfast is really nice too and starts at 4 AM for those that have early flights. All the staff were very pleasant and courteous too.:)

When you check in the front desk asks you what time you would like your pick up to the airport..... so that is all arranged ahead of time for you.:)

We need some more votes!!

We liked Homewood [Dick Rd] in March. Great rooms ~ all suites. The pool was amazing. The breaky was very good, but the free dinner wasn't the greatest....just ok really. However, the free beer and wine at dinner was nice....heeheehee. S

We stayed at the Sleep Inn right beside the airport. Good shuttle service -- although you have to be sure to sign up as soon as you get there. A good breakfast is served and a wonderful rate available.

The Holiday Inn Express is a comfortable hotel at which to stay, as well.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. I know it's not the cheapest of the lot, but here's why I liked it: it's right across the road from BUF. The shuttle service was friendly and timely. The parking lot where you leave your vehicle feels secure. It's out in the open. The rooms were very clean. Our early flight meant they had breakfast in a bag ready for us at the front desk. I know they do that with everybody, but the kids thought it was special. HI Express gets my vote.

Another vote for Holiday Inn Express. Very clean and shuttle service is excellent.

DH stays at Hilton Garden Inn all the time.

Right across the street from the airport, new hotel, excellent shuttle service.

My husband and I went down for the night for some shopping last weekend. We stayed at the Millenium. We stayed here because I got a good rate. $85 US. a so called $99 CDN dollar at par rate. And we were going to The Olive Garden across the street. I have stayed here 4 times in the past. This was the last time I ever stay there.

The hotel is very run down and in need of a complete rehab. Apparently the last time I stayed there I had a renovated room. (Didn't know that till this past weekend)This was shocking, I thought the room was one of the ones that had not been done yet. So I took it for what it was a cheap hotel room.

Well this past weekend my husband suggested going home at 10:00pm when we got back to our room. It was gross :scared1: The bathroom heat lamp had thick black mold around the inside of the light. They had a drop ceiling in the bathroom that was stained and water damaged. The tiles were black in spots aswell as the tub. The bathroom door at the bottom looked like they soaked it in water for a few days. It was swelled up to twice the size as the top. In the bedroom area the ceiling tiles had holes in them and didn't seem to fit together correctly. The room had 4 lamps and not one of them matched, the TV was maybe a 19". Never will I stay here again.

This use to be such a beautiful hotel when owned by Sherton. Now it needs to be knocked down.

We did drive by Homewood suites on Dick road. Looks like a newer hotel. We might try it next time.

Just looked at the email my brother sent me and apparently we are staying at the Clarion Airport hotel in august - anyone stayed there before??

I just booked a king non smoking room at the Best Western Norstar Inn for $77. I did some quick searching and it had pretty good reviews. I hope it's not horrible! We don't need deluxe accomodations, just somewhere relatively clean and safe with an airport shuttle. For less than $100, thank you. That's not asking too much now, is it?? :rotfl2:

Scornelius: Did you book that rate directly with BestWestern by phone. I'm trying to book it as well without going thru parkandfly sites. Did you use their 800 number or long distance?

Any advise would be great.

Hi Minnie&Me,
I used hotelsbycity. I also looked at travelocity and expedia, and hotelsbycity had the best rates when comparing the same hotels. :thumbsup2
