Just checked this morning - internet sale on now. This is the lowest I have seen this fare. Looks like the dates are August 29th ish through November.

I  SWA :p

I was just coming to post this as well. I almost fell over. This is almost twice as much as I was booked for. Just waiting for 9AM to call SW for a refund.

I love Southwest.

:Pinkbounc I am so happy! We gambled and booked at $99 now we're going to switch and then our Dec flights we already be covered as well!! I don't think SW has let us down yet!

Does anyone think that SWA will offer Dec 17 BUF-MCO, Dec 31 MCO-BUF, or Jan 7 MCO-BUF at $49 or would they keep these prices higher since these are considered peak/holiday dates (since school doesn't go back this year for a lot of people until Jan 9)???
I am hoping that these fares will be released this Thursday (and hopefully will be included in the systemwide sale) but I figure they will be offered at at leastr $99 each way (systemwide sale internet price). I wonder if I should book Thursday or hold out for a possible $49 fare.

PLEASE, give me some thoughts/suggestions!!!
Even at $99 OW it will work out to about $215USpp which is still WAY cheaper then flying out of Toronto at that time.

My personal opinion is to book (like you said, no matter what it is a great deal) and that way if it does go on sale you get a bonus and if not you still get a great rate.

My gamble paid off too! We've been waiting for this price ALL summer long. We booked in June to go to Disney and have been waiting for flights ever since.

FINALLY it happened this morning $49 ea. way on SWA :goodvibes
We are set, a family of 6 for $711.60 US. That's $858.90 CAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy :teeth: :flower:

A couple questions for those of you who have flown SW - the one way fares, can you book a round trip with the one way fares or do you just book them separately? That sounds silly but it's got so many different fare options in comparison to Westjet and AC!! Also, where do most of you stay if flying out of Buffalo, we would be travelling with 3 young children and the flight is at 7am so that is a must for us. Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks!

We stayed at the Comfort Suites for 89US plus tax. That included 2 weeks free parking, breakfast and the shuttle to/from airport. It is a very large room with two doubles and a pull out couch, small fridge and microwave. There is a nice pool, hot tub also. The breakfast included hot and cold items. We are booked there again this trip for 89US. The service at this hotel was very good. My only concern was that the rooms did not look brand new and the lighting was quite poor (made the room look dark). I have read about others Disers great experiences at the brand new Holiday Inn Express. It was across the road form the Comfort Suites and looked very nice.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn as well and I will agree with all in the above post. It's a great place, especially when you won't be there long b/c for a 7:00am flight you're up really early (barely enough time to settle in the room)to get to the airport at the recommended 90mins ahead of flight departure. :)

And to fly from Toronto would have been like $2500 or so right?

Not a silly question. You can book them together just indicate your dates on the website and both flights will show up. You then "click" the flight times you want to and fro and then the site calculates your fare + fees and taxes, which are quite reasonable if you ask me.
