BUF airport Hotel?

Any recommendations for a cheap BUF hotel for the night before?

Holiday Inn is having a special until May 20/06 $69 plus tax Canadian at par(from the Toronto Star newspaper Apr 8)

I believe there is a Days Inn near the airport. Search Buffalo airport sometimes the sites lists the hotels close by.

Thanks for the heads up on this deal. I called to see if it would include people looking for a park & fly package - of course it does not. They are still quoting $134.99+tax for the park & fly.

We stayed at the Quality Inn. I think it was about $100 for the night, but this did include our parking, free breakfast (even at 5 am) and a shuttle to the airport. It was clean, had a nice pool and provided us with a relaxing night before our trip. Good luck.

What? When I stayed at the HI express this past December, I just booked a room for rack rate of $99 and the shuttle is included...

For depending on how long you're going, it might be worth it for you to drive your car across the street to the airport because parking is only $45 or so for a week.

Yeah. I was hoping to try them out but I can't seem to hit the $99 rate. They quoted me the $134.99, which is the same rate that they list on their internet site. We booked at Homewood Suites which recently dropped their price for our time period back to $99.

You may want to try Millenium at $88. I haven't tried it myself though. We stayed at Homewood Suites last year and thought it was pretty good. Here's a link to some of park & fly's

I'm trying the Millenium hotel in May. Wee Haggis stayed there a little while ago and said it was o.k. My problem will be keeping DW and DD from spending too much at the Walden Galleria Mall before we even get to Florida (since the hotel is accross the parking lot from the mall).

We have stayed at the HIE twice and I can't recommend it because the beds are awful (imho)! You know the type where if DH rolls over you are feeling the shockwaves for minutes after. Both times there I have woken up with a sore back. And we have never gotten the $99 - they always ding us for the $134.99 when we arrive to check-in. It works out to about $150 CDN which I think is just too much for what they offer. We enjoyed the Homewood Suites in feb of '04 and got them at a deal $89 - but lately they have been in the $150 range - so if you can get a deal on Homewood I would say go for it.

We are going down again in Nov and I am thinking of not staying in BUF - just get up extra early in TO and drive and park at the airport. Saves us about $100 and I never good a good sleep the night before Disney anyway - so might as well have a bad sleep at home for free rather than pay for it in BUF. So, we'll see how that goes!

We have stayed twice at the Comfort Suites on Dick Rd.
We paid $89 plus tax both times for their park and fly rooms.
I phoned for this year and was told the rate is now $99 plus tax.
The rate includes a room that sleeps 6 ( 2 beds plus pull out sofa, microwave, small fridge), pool, hot tub, shuttle, 2 weeks parking and great breakfast.

The hotel is not new and the rooms are starting to look a little tired but the kids really like the pool there. The breakfast starts very early as well so that works out well for those who have a very early morning flight.

I can second the Comfort Suites. It works for us, no hassles and the car is waiting for us when we return. This will be our 3rd time in May staying there before flying out the next morning EARLY!!!!
You have to call hotel directly and ask for the park 'n fly room rates though b/c they are not listed on the internet.

I just booked the millenium hotel at 109. keeping the car there with shuttle to and from... not sure what it is like but doesn't matter we are not there for long and it is close to the MALL !!! shuttle starts at 4:40 am and is 3 minutes from the airport

Tracey, I tried the Choice Hotel website and there are a few hotels in Buffalo. There is no "clarion" from the BUF airport site links... which one did you stay at?

we stayed at the Clarion as well. It is a little older and slightly (<5 minutes) farther but it was clean and the staff were great. It was by far the cheapest. Would stay there again.

The price for Holiday Inn seems great, I could not get close to that price. It is closes and the shuttle runs 24 hours. Clarion's starts at 6:00 am.

Save your money to spend at WDW!

I just booked the Comfort suites for mid dec and the price has gone up. Same time in 2004 and 2005 I paid $89 US per night plus tax, this year am paying $99.99 US plus tax. Also need parking for a third week (only two weeks are free withthe park and fly rate) and am paying $20 for the third week. Regular price is $40 for third week but the CSR told me she would give me a discount without me asking for it!!!!

I know we could pay less but we really like the early shuttle (starts at 4:30), early breakfast (starts around 4:30) and pool for the kids, hot tub for me at this hotel. Plus I like in room sofa (plus two beds) and microwave, fridge.
