Has anyone stayed here recently? How are the rooms and the breakfast buffet? Hotelkingdom.com has a good price for this suite. Anyone have any problems with Hotelkingdom.com?

I see there is no response to your question. Did you learn anything about BVS anywhere else? I booked the same hotel for the end of June and desperately seek information. I searched the whole forum and all the threads but no luck so far.

We stayed at BVS in Nov 01. The rate was $55.00 a night. If we could get that rate again, we would stay there. The hotel was a little above average! Hotel was very clean, front desk & bell hops were very helpful & friendly. The breakfast buffet was awesome, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, biscuts & gravy, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, bagels, juice, coffee, tea. I am sure there was more. The pool was not heated, kind of a bummer, but you can use Caribe Royal's pool, right next door. We did not use Caribe's pool, but my brother said it was awesome. The size of the hotel room is great. There was plenty of room for the 5 in my family. I think that's all I remember

Thanks Dahess!!! I got a rate of $69 p/n for the end of June, so I think I did pretty good. I went thru so many hotels and coudn't get a suit for that kind of money. Do you know how far was to Caribe Royale pool? (small pools was the only thing that I felt ify about). Could you walk from BVS property to the CR pool or had to drive? And another comment: I am glad you liked the breakfast buffet becasue I got several reviews where people said the buffet was horrible so I was warried for a while. Thanks again.

Caribe is located right next door within walking distance. The rooms also have a microwave, & mini fridge. We also ordered room service (adults order of chickn strips & fries) my whole family ate off of this plate of food, it was very good & this was lunch for 1 day.

I also have read bad comments about the food, we REALLY thought it was fine. I mean, as good as a Dennys Restaurant or a Country Kitchen.

Where did you get that good rate at? We are thinking of staying offsite a few days for our next trip. Thanks!

I got my rate from Dreams Unlimited Travel. I searched all possible sites and www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com had the best rates! I am pretty happy with D U V so far. They confirmed my reservation right away, they answer all my e-mails within 12-24 hours, they also have Priority seating service that may come handy. Anyway, I don't know if that rate is still available! I booked mine at the end of February. Good Luck!

And enjoyed it. It is a would do again especially at the rates that I have seen posted on this tread. It was a little run down but clean. We enjoyed the breakfest buffet as well. and the pool was nice.
