Buena Vista Palace question

We are going down to WDW and we decided to go a day early. So we got a room at Buena Vista Palace for 1 night, that happens to be July 4th. Anyone know if there are any Fireworks you can see from the hotel or Downtown Disney? We are not planning on going to the parks that day even though we are AP holders. Our reservation at our DVC resort doesn't start till July 5th so we wanted to relax at the resort and maybe go to downtown disney on july 4th. Any help on how the pool is and stuff would be great. It is DH, DD 3, DS 6 and myself going.

Not sure about other fireworks, especially with it being 4th July....but if your room faces in the direction of DTD you will be able to see the Epcot ones. We saw this our very first night there, before we all fell asleep (had been awake for around 21 hours)

The hotel is lovely. We were there when they were still doing part of the refurb and it was fantastic. Probably the most comfy bed I have ever slept in. Immaculately clean in all areas, good sized rooms and all staff were very friendly and helpful.

Watercress cafe was excellent for breakfast, ideal for pastries, croissants or pancakes. Good selection and reasonably priced.

Pool hadn`t been done then but it was really good as there was a lovley bit you could shade from the sun if you needed to whilst in the water. It was ideal for little ones too.

Only a couple of minutes walk to DTD, the road was never that busy so you will get across easily.

I would happily go back and stay there in a heartbeat. Hope you enjoy it
