Hi all, this is my first time posting in this forum. I've been able to get so many good answers to many of my questions that I have in mind. Thank you all. :thumbsup2

I'm planning a 2008 spring intimate wedding and I'm thinking of having 10 guests on my list. I know the Disney package covers 4 guests for the cake and champagne, does any one know how much more they charge for each guest? Is the cost different if a guest is only 3 years old?

I currently am not plaaning a intimate, but I believe (people correct me if Im wrong) that the cake already feeds 20, but you get one bottle of champagne, which is 2 drink for 4 people. You can add soda, water, juice, or more champagne. Champagne is $50 a bottle. You could also upgrade your cake, at a additional charge. Hope this helps!

Hi and welcome.
The bottle of Champage that you get included will be sufficient for about 8 glasses.
You can buy extra champagne at around $50, and non alcoholic cider (suitable for children) at $22 a bottle, again this would cover around 8 glasses. The cake will be suffice for about 20 guests. It is pretty big.
In fact there were 17 of us and we all had a slice at the cake cutting and a slice the next day after lunch.
You have come to a wonderful place to help with your Disney wedding.
The advice you receive here is excellent!
Good luck with all your planning.

Hi there! :wave2:
This is the exact same thing I asked my EM the first time I spoke to her! For Intimate weddings, there is no per person charge for guests up to 18 people. Apparently, that information is not up-to-date on the DFTW website.

My BM's little boy (who will be ALMOST 3) counts as a guest. But again, no additional cost as long as you're within the 18.

HTH!

this will probably sound really miserly , but do you have to buy drink for 8+ guests? We're not actually expecting more than 4 guests, but thought I'd ask, just in case we get a surprise and more guests do come with us.

Not sure I understand your question. If you are only having 4 guests, then you will not have any additional charges for beverage unless your guests request something besides the champagne. But, if your question is do you have to pay for the whole bottle (approx. 8 glasses) when you only have 4 guests, then the answer is yes. The cost of one bottle is included with the intimate package.

Another option is to trade the champagne for 2 bottle of sparkling cider. This is what we did. We opened one at the wedding, and saved the second to have on our anniversary with our top tier of the cake. We had 9 guests so 11 people total. They also provided pitchers of water, for after the cider was gone (not sure if mom asked them to, or if it's standard). Sodas are $3 a can.

sorry for the confusion :confused3 What I meant was, IF (big IF!!!) we did end up with all our family coming so there was 10 of us, would it be compulsary to buy another bottle of something, as I know some of the guests wouldn't be bothered. I just wondered if Disney made you buy enough drink (of whatever kind) for everyone in attendance?
