Budgeting in advance

We almost always stay off-site when we go to WDW, but I finally convinced DH that we should have one good onsite trip. He told me to sell more purses and make it happen. How do you estimate what the cost of a vacation will be in 1-2 years time? Use current pricing and add a certain percentage to account for price increases? Obviously nothing will be PERFECT, but what works best for you?

I just start putting away what I can, $100 here, $400 there. Then when I book it gives me an idea of what I still need and set up goals. I.E Save 50% by March 15th. Save 75% by May 1.
