Ok, this is not our first trip to WDW, but it's been a while..........We are a family of 5, two DDs, 14 & 16, DS, 8, DH and myself.
I am having trouble getting together a food budet. We bring our camper and stay at FW, so it's only the parks I am worried about. We will have 4 day park hopper passes in late Aug. We will be eating our breakfast in the camper, and will have quick meals in the parks. What do you think? How much should I allow for lunch, snacks, drinks and dinner. (We won't bother with sit down meals.)
Thanks in advance......................

It might help you to check out the prices on allearsnet.com She has the menus listed for most, if not all, restaurants at WDW, including counter service in the parks. Snacks (ice cream, cookies, etc) are also listed. Obviously you don't know exactly what each person will eat that day, but you can get a rough idea.

I'm allowing $140 each day for our trip for food, it's a family of 4 but youngest ds will eat free at buffets/character meals. That includes one character meal or buffet each day though. I'm allowing $30-$35 for the counter service meals, which may be too much, but I'd rather have too much than not enough.

Good luck and happy planning!

Steph
