Budget travel websites

Does anyone have any good websites they use for budget travel (not Disney travel)? Thinking perhaps DH and I can finally manage a getaway just the 2 of us, but it'd have to be cheap. Any "last minute" deal sites? Are there any good travel message boards out there for discount/budget travel? Would so appreciate any ideas or sites!!!

We use biddingfortravel.com when looking to see what kind of bids/rooms people are getting through Priceline. It's a forum set up by state, and region, which can be helpfully when looking for particular destinations.

Kayak.com when searching for the lowest airfare available.
