if you are booking for next year and will be staying on disney property here is a suggestion for you. We have book a stay at Disney for the time period of May 20-27. The Suv is a ford escape, We managed to get a price of 117 a week plus tax for an SUV from the budget on disney property. This budget location is in the Doubletree located in downtown disney. This is a corporate site and corporate rules apply. Meaning it requires only a 200 dollar securement (credit/debit) or the cost of the rental plus 25% which ever is the greater amount.

With the free disney transportation from the airport to disney it is not a great inconvenience to get your car at the doubletree instead of at the airport. This same vehicle from the airport at the same time will set you back 258 plus taxes plus a securement of cost plus 25 %.

Just thought i would try and save you all some money

It is a great rate:), just to clarify for anyone thinking "I can just go to DTD for free by ME",you can't get to DTD from MCO via ME. You have to be traveling to an onsite resort, with reservations in order to be booked for ME...

That being said, if you're staying onsite - which you are:) -, and want to rent a car...grab ME, head to your resort, check in, and grab a bus to DTD, walk/cab to Doubletree.:)

Thanks for the rate tip!:)

i don't know if this rate is available for anytime but may. but i did not use any code. I only filled out the form as it was and made sure to input my fastbreak number --if you don't know what fastbreak is, it is a program run by budget that speeds up the pickup process and gives a slight discount. sign up on the internet or signup over the phone.--

You are correct you will have to go to your resort via ME then take a taxi to the doubletree. Cost should be less than 10 dollars for taxi cab I think to get to doubletree. Car can also be dropped at airport at end of trip for no extra fee.

Only suggestion, look over car throughly if you find any marks or dents don't leave until you get someone to look at it. Check seats for any damage. Make sure to note everything you see. you don't want to be charged for something someone else did.
