I posted this on the Budget Boards, but thought this might be a better place:
Has anyone ever used their SW RR points to buy a budget rental car certificate from SW RR? If so how does it work? Can you use a discount code with it? What are their restrictions?
SW RR site says to read the back of the certificate for restrictions, but I'd have to redeem points to get ahold of the certificate to read those restrictions. It also says to call Budget. I did and they said they don't' know, call Southwest.
Ugh...
I don't want to waste the 50K points i earned on these certificates, only to find out I can't use them, or there are tons of restrictions.
Help from anyone please????
