Budget or Dollar?

Which car rental has the better service - Budget or Dollar? Any input is greatly appreciated....

But I tell you I am spoilt. I signed up for fastbreak and it was the best thing I have ever done. It takes all the fuss of renting a car. You can go strait to the garage and they issue you your car based on your reservation. it takes less than 10 minutes to be on your way.

I have repeatedly gotten great rates for my rentals. My most current reservation is for may 22-29 for a full size car I got a weekly rate of 108 plus tax which comes to about 147 dollars.

You can rent with a debit card or credit card. The securement is only 200 dollars or the cost of the rental plus 25 percent which ever is greater.

They are the easiest company to rent from, I would recommend only renting from corporate sites though. The prices differ greatly from corporate and franchised sites. That being said, at orlando airport which is a corporate site you will not have any problems.

I'll go ahead and put in a good word for Dollar. The last two trips we have rented minivans and received Dodge Grand Caravans that were basically new. They were in very good condition, and this past year when I was going to end up with just a regular Caravan, they had no problem in allowing me to select a Grand Caravan instead.

I signed up for the Fast Lane program, and all of your insurance declarations and other requests already show up on your agreement. This has resulted in my never getting asked about the additional insurance because I have already declined it.

It has never taken more than 10 minutes to get through the process for me. I'd definitely recommend them.

I've never used Dollar, but I've had good experiences with Budget. Their cars tend to be on the high mileage side, but they are in good shape mechanically, and we've even gotten some nice free upgrades. I am a Fastbreak member, but even the regular line is usually not too long.

Another vote for Dollar. I have been pleased with their service, and the cars that I have gotten have always been under 10,000 miles, clean, and in good condition.
Another fastlane member, and always out under 10 minutes.

Big Dollar fan here! I used them for my last stay & had a brand new Caravan (free upgrade @ the desk) for one week for $150. What a deal!!!!
