Does anyone else get Budget Living Magazine?

Somehow, I managed to miss an issue - and wouldn't you know, it was an issue I'm really interested in!

If anyone has the issue from August, I would love to have a copy of it. Even if someone just had the article about having a reception for $1000, I would be thrilled - that's actually what I wanted most of all from it.

Liza, I do get Budget Living magazine. I will have to try to remember to dig it out when I get home....

I get Budget Living too, and I remember that article.

The summary of that article is this couple were teachers, and were very artsy.

They rented a Catholic schools cafeteria as thier reception hall. They served cafeteria food, such as hot dogs, tater tots, juice boxes, and such. (Remember they are teachers!)
The centerpeices were pencil cases, and erasers. (it was cute, but not wedding worthy, if that makes sense)

The pictures were Poloaroids with a picture of the Pope, or something kitschey like that. The father of the bride rented a nun costume, and was teasing everyone.

They also used portable chalkboards/whiteboards for messages.

It was a fun, cute, silly, memorable wedding. It was extremely untraditional, but it fit their lifestyle.
