Budget Kids New Years Eve Party

Okay...so I'm a little early on this one, but it's been on my mind since we just finalized our holiday plans. We are going to be with our entire extended family for new years eve - first time ever. I would love to plan a new years eve party geared toward all of the kids, ages 13 to 2. I need some inexpensive ideas that will be fun for everyone - games, crafts, menu items etc - to make the day memorable!

I appreciate any suggestions or recommendations!

I haven't had one myself, but Family Fun had some ideas in their magazine in the past so I would check out their website for ideas.

We did a Disney themed New Years family party last year, but that was because we were telling our kids about our trip.

-Movie theme (popcorn, black/white movie clickers, boas for the girls/bowties for the boys, stars, etc.)

-Hawaiian Luau theme

-Ho-Down/Western theme

I would avoid doing a 'character' theme based on the broad age range.
