I am soooo tempted to stay in All star resorts with the free breakfast price coming in at £649 for 10 data 2 adults £ 2 children

Moderates good price too £1200 then to add DDP is only another £270 to upgrade.

OKW is nearly £1700 ......

Last year we stated in OKW and lived it but this year figures staying in budget it doesn't make sense to stay there next time.

Would we be really dusappinted with a budget hotel after staying in A deluxe or is this a no brainer given the cheap price

If you just want somewhere to eat, sleep and swim and if you children are young and want to enjoy the poolside activities, you'll be fine. My biggest concern would be space with four in a room. We've stayed once as ASMU and have otherwise done moderate or deluxe and the space makes quite a difference. We had plenty in a value room for two of us when DD was 6. I'm not sure how we would have fared with two adults and two children in that space for a week or two, but if you are going to be spending a lot of time out of your room and especially if it's the difference between going or not going, I'd say it's a no brainer :)

Thanks for replying I'm tempted to go moderate not just for just for dining plan for space too?

Are the rooms at Coronado springs resort much larger than the budgets rooms ? Xxxx

Not much larger, but that little bit of space makes quite a difference. I think (may be mistaken as it's been years since we stayed value) that the beds are queen, not double, but check the specifics for CSR.

I'd go moderate with free QS dining. You'll have to pay for a second meal everyday if you go value resort. The moderate rooms are bearable for four people we have done it a few times and the grounds are all lovely. Plus the pools have slides.

Thanks everyone I'm thinking more mod's myself.
Going to do 10 days at Disney then move to I drive for 7 days for shopping and universal and more fab meals xx

As we don't have children, my husband ruled out the value resorts due to the theming. We stayed at SSR last year as it was only £50 more than upgrading the dining plan at POFQ.

This year, SSR was nearly £1k more than CSR, so we decided to stick with the free QS plan there and have a few meals out of pocket. I know the room won't be as fancy (we were upgraded to a one bedroom villa) but it will be good enough, and the resort looks beautiful :)

Exactly what I thought last year was cheaper to stay in OKW resort than upgrade pol but these prices are different this time it's cheaper to stay in moderates and either pay out if pocket for a few or upgrade . I like the look of Coronado springs and it gives us chance for a change of resort
