Can everyone look at my budget to see if i'm missing anything?? I've never been to WDW and want to not have to worry about having enough $$$:

Hotel 828 - CBR
tickets 170 - universal Studios
Tickets 430 - PH
scooter 150
Victoria & Alberts 350
car 125 - sharing with friends
Illuminations boat 60 - Sharing w/ friends
parasailing 170 - 2 people
Airfare 432
Food 1000 (also have 10 Q&C, 2 VKL)
Emerils Gift cert 150 (already paid for)
Spending $$ 1000
Mousekeeping tip 21

total $4736.00

this is for 2 adults for 7 nights. Anything missing??

Your budget looks great.

Gas for the rental car and the only other thing that I would add is purchasing & developing film can really put a dent in a budget. Last time when we returned home, film cost $125 to develop. So I have budgeted for it this time. Actually, Iplan on getting it developed while we are there at Walmart or something.

Other than that it looks like you have pretty much budgeted for everything I would.

On quick glance missing:

Parking for Universal Studios (not sure, 8/day?)
Tips at Victoria and Alberts
Tip and cost for valet parking at GF for V & A night
Gas for rental car
Tip for Illuminations boat captain
Tips for baggage handlers at airports
The MUST HAVE photo at attractions (splash mountain, dinosaur, TOT)

Are you using a house sitter/pet watcher? If so, add the cost plus the purchase of a souvenier for anyone who might be looking out for you/your home while you are gone.

How are you getting to the airport? If parking, add extra space for it.

HTH!

It looks like your budget is full of spots to shift money around. For 2A's with a car...do you need a $1000, for food and another $1000 for spending money? Are you planning golf and spa treatments? Was wondering if you were going to try for any of the current discounts that are out there like the 7 for 5 (then you could eliminate the tickets), or a AAA discount or poss. purchasing 1 annual pass to take advantage of those discounts on the room/purchases/meals. Robin has given you a lot of great missing numbers, they are small, but they do add up. Airport parking can be a $100 for 7 days depending on your airport. Our pet boarding was $350.

If your purpose is to have a great time, money is no object, I think you are fine. But I also think that you could probably cut your budget by at least a $1000.

I hope you have a great time...Is this a special celebration?

We're not celebrating anything. But we don't want to worry about money at all. I guess I'd rather overbudget than under budget.

As for the film & processing. I have a digital camera so we will only print the must haves.

the $125 does include our potential share of gas. I alotted $25.00 for our part (65 total for the group)

The $60.00 for our part does include the captain's tip for the Illuminations cruise. (should we be able to book it)

We do have dogs but my mother & sister will watch them for us. We'll just bring them back something nice from our trip.

My brother hasn't gotten his ticket yet so we're hoping there will be a possiblity to save some $$ there as well.

Thanks for all the tips!!!
