Budget friendly Xmas craft for Brownies Scouts

I need a budget friendly, cute craft for a girl scout party this weekend. I was thinking some of kind of Xmas ornament. It's for 8 yo girls and 11 yo girls. Ideas please???

Have each girl bring in a picture. At Hobby Lobby or other craft store, purchase the plastic fillable ornaments. Cut the picture into a cricle the same size as the ornament. Loosely roll the picture and slide it into the ornament. It will unroll inside. I always love ornaments om my kids! And Hobby Lobby should have some good specials this close to Christmas!

Take 3 white pipe cleaners and twist them into a snowflake shape, you twist them into the center and have 6 spokes sticking out. Add on beads ( the plastic colored ones). Twist the ends of the pipe cleaners so you don't have wires sticking out. We did this at a christmas function and I am using it for my dd9 b-day party which has a snow theme.

Felt ornaments- have them cut out 2 matching shape (freehand or can trace a cookie cutter- a fine sharpie works well for this)- eg 2 Christmas trees.
Either glue together (use felt glue, Elmer's won't work!) or sew with embroidery thread. Include a ribbon loop for hanging. They can decorate with glitter, sequins, yarn, etc. You can also cut a hole out of the top shape and put a picture in the "sandwich" of felt to make a frame.

I went to michaels and ac moore and got wood ornaments and had the firls paint them. Then we places magnets on them. I use these as presents for their parenst as all kids cant afford to buy their parents a present. I use these for a daisy and brownie combined trip.

DS and I did these and had a blast. They are so cute too! We set up a little scene an a festive plate with rock salt and put the little critters in the "snow." We made snowflakes with jelly rings (like peach rings) and licorice whips.

Did these last year with my 4 Daisy scouts.

Doing them again this week with our troop that has grown to multi level Daisy - Junior.

It's really easy and they are really cute!!!!!
