Budget for food/day?

I have never done this before, but I will be taking an extra duffle bag full of food when we fly in this Summer. This way when it's empty, I can just fold it up and put in suitcase for flight home! The last couple of times we spent way too much on food/beverages, so going to try to save just a bit!

Another food question, is Storytellers a similar experience to Goofy's K? We want to do GK for breakfast one day, but I see ST is less $$?

We budget about $60 per person, per day, and one day at $90 per person to account for a really nice dinner or such... Most likely, a trip or two to Trader Sam's

We buy all three meals and all drinks and snacks in the parks. My DD, SIL, 2 kids, and 2 toddlers, are budgeting $300 per day. If any is left over, they can use it for gifts, etc.

You absolutely can bring snacks in your luggage. I'm a DL local so that doesn't apply to me, but when I went to WDW (or any other vacation) I throw granola bars in to luggage (I rarely check bags so no liquids) and if necessary try to stop and pick up necessities that are liquid or wouldn't fit.

As for ST vs GK, look at menus online and see if one appeals to you over the other. Also, if characters matter, ST has the woodland animals whereas GK has more traditional characters.

I am budgeting $125/day for food for family of 4 two of them being 8 and 5, but we have a WOC lunch booked so that isn't included. That is on the high end for us. We will have snacks that we will bring for us. We just aren't heavy eaters

Pretty good, but I'd bump it to $150 for a family of four.. If you are eatying anywhere nice, it will go up from there.
