Budget for 4- 2 adults 2 kids?

Just curious with the post for a budget of 5, whats your budget look like for a family of 4?

Here's the last tweeking of mine..(keeps changing!)

Driving down and back 4 hotels and diesel...$550.00 (might come down given price of diesel...and AAA rates of hotels)

17 days total- $100.00 per day for food - $1700.00 (I know this is high, we wont eat anywhere near 100 a day on our travel days..)
But if I take my normal grocery amount for 17 days at home, it doesnt look so bad!

All Star Movies- 6 nights 556.00 includes tax...

Park Hoppers 5 day- $835 (something like that I just got them last week...)

Hampton Inn LBV 6 nights- $356.00 includes tax

Sea World pay for 1 day, play for 2 $180.00

Gator Land $55.00

Misc....includes mini golf, shopping, south of the boarder, non-essentials.tolls, parking fee's..$1200.00

so that puts me at...$5432.00 Looking at that number is kind of scary, but when I put it into a 17 day trip, it's working out too about $320 per day.

I do have some PS's made for instance, Rain Forest Cafe will put me over the $100.00 daily amount even if I use vouchers, since we'll still have to eat other meals that day.

I like to over budget, and I'm sure I did in some places, that way I come home with something in my wallet!

i had just asked the same thing in the 5 person thread lol.
glad that someone else was wondering.
we spent 470 on 4 day park hoppers(fl resident deal)
5 nights at allstar music was 414.00 (fla resident deal)
rental car running us 180.00 for 7 days
100.00 for gas
and i figured 700 for food and souvie's

I can't remember the exact figures, but our family of four(2 A and 2 C)just went in Nov and we spent about $3K altogether:

Plane tix, roundtrip: $470
6 nights at ASMovies: $86/night
Rental car....was like $150
Food: we budgeted $100/day and prob spent close to that, but we really LIKE to eat!! (we did pack breakfast stuff and ate lunch out and then did dinner either at the food court or at Ponderosa or ordered in a pizza each night)
Souvenirs......we told the kids that they could have $20 per day to spend any way they wanted, but that was it, when it was gone, it's gone........so, 7 days x $20 x 2 kids=$280
DH and I spent like $100 on souvies and misc, didn't really get much........we aren't big on "stuff", not much room for it at home
What else is there? I can't think, but that was the big stuff!!
