Budget children's clothing?

Imo, best price along with best selection and quality is The Children's Place. I have always shopped there for both of my daughters. The outlet usually has some great prices but right now online they are offering free shipping along with 30% off if you spend $60. Not sure how much you are looking to spend but if you spend less than $60 you still get 25% off. This is a great deal. Look under the sale section but also look at the regular clothes...they are all well priced. My youngest daughter LOVES the fleece hoodies...they are super comfortable and only $10 before the discount:)

Its very nice of you to decide to gift to an angel tree child. I know you said $15 is way too much to spend on a dress. But, in reality $15 is really, really inexpensive for a dress. I totally get trying to get the most for your money. Try the Childrens place online or Kohls. I'd gotten so much value using coupons and sales to give to angel tree kids. With $100 I can get 5 sets of tops and bottoms of nice quality. I was able to get a few $15 coats this year too! All you need to do is search! Lands end is fantastic when they have the 40% off.

I had no idea they would give you a discount for showing the ornament! Thank You for letting me know

Crazy 8 and The Children's Place at our mall offer discounts if you say you're buying for an Angel and show the angel ornament as proof. At crazy 8 we received a 25% discount and it was 20% at The Children's Place.

$15 for a child's dress is very reasonable, especially for some of the adorable brands that Target has out there right now. The Trend D line is ADORABLE and so is the Harajuku Mini line. The fall line of both are on clearance at Target right now, and the winter/Christmas lines are on sale. You can save an additional 5% at Target if you link your debit/checking account to what is essentially a prepaid Target card. It links to your banking account and it gives you the full benefits of having a Target credit card without having to actually go on credit or make payments.

While dresses are adorable to buy for a 6 year old, not all girls are dressy and she may not ever wear skirts/dresses or even like them. If you're looking to go for more of a versatile gift, I would go with a nice pair of dark denim that could be worn to school and for dressier occasions, the dark denim will last through more washes and could potentially look just as dressy as a cute dress. I would get a couple of long sleeved shirts, or a hoodie/sweater, and definitely a jacket. Target generally has a selection on clearance right about now, as late winter and spring lines start to make their way out. Depending on how cold winter is in your area, a hat and gloves and scarf set might be wonderful to add on too. Socks and panties are always good ideas too, sometimes these essentials are few and far between for families.

Also check out the stand you got your angels from, if you received them directly from the Salvation Army at the mall or another location. They had tons of coupons to other stores that were located in our mall, so I'm hoping other area locations would do the same thing!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I went out today and I found the BEST deals at Old Navy and The Children's Place. I got her TONS of cute stuff for amazing prices. Some of the graphic tees were only $2 because of a sale they were having! It was crazy how good the deals were, so I ended up getting sooo much more than planned. Also I found her some really cute shoes at Skechers and they actually had a sale where if you bought a pair you got a 2nd pair 50% off so I wound up with a new pair of comfy shoes to wear while walking the parks at Disney.
