Budget- Car seats

Are there any codes out there to reduce the cost of the car seats. The actual car rental is reasonable but its the car seats that are very costly.

In general, rental car seats are expensive, often dirty, and not particularly well maintained. You would be well-served to bring your own. You can gate-check them (for free) on just about any airline, and have them waiting for you at the gate when you get off.

I would if we weren't cruising but since we are that would be too much of a hassle.

Yes, there is one that I know of. It may end up costing you more in the end, however, because AFAIK, the only company that does it is Hertz. Free carseats are a perk of using your AAA account to rent with them.

To get the free seat, you have to rent using the AAA group ID code (and it should go without saying, you have to be a AAA member to use the code; they ask for the card.)
