Budget Car Rental

I have reserved online with Budget both going (MCO - PC) and returning (PC - MCO). Do I need to call them in advance to use the shuttle to the dock? Upon return, is there a shuttle(s) already there when the ship docks or do you need to reserve that too? If you do not have to call in advance, when are the shuttles there for pick up?

The shuttles runs continuously both ways. You may have to wait a few mins depending on the number of people. I find it easier to drop off the family, then I leave to gas up and drop off the car. Since I am by myself I can hop on easily. Make sure you have an id so that you can get back into the terminal.

After the cruise make sure you get to the shuttle pick up point, the porter will take you and your bags there.

You don't need to call in advance for the budget shuttle, going either way. When you return your car it is available to take you to port. Drop your luggage and family at port before you return your car..much much easier.

When you come back the budget shuttles start making the laps at 7:30am..so you will have no problem..just go to the designated area and hop on.

Did you find a good rate for Budget? I am going to rent a car to drive to WDW to Port, and then back to MCO in December.

I get BCD codes from flyertalk and get minivans for cheap. Try those codes....

you don't need to call them, but be advised the shuttle only runs 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

We had a GREAT experience last time on this same route. I'd go with them in an instant -- they were SO nice and the cars were SO clean and well kept.

We've used Budget for the last 2 yrs for our cruise trips before and after. They are very accomodating, great prices and I agree the cars are always kept very clean.

We'll use them again for May 2006!
