We are renting from Budget for the first time this year have previously used Dollar 3x and Alamo x1 just have a few ???

can we use the Fastbreak service and have both dh and i as drivers? our insurance covers 2 drivers and we would like to avoid queing at the desk!

we have hired a standard SUV 5 seater Jeep Grand Chereokee or similar does anyone know what the or similar could be?

is it best to prepay fuel or take back full?we have only got fully inclusive insurance not the Gold this time!

Thanks in advance

Alex

sorry just realised i should have put this on the trip planning board!

I have just booked with Budget as Alamo put their prices up today and Dollar are just too expensive.

I have already registered for fastbreak and hope that once the car is fully paid that will allow me to register onto Budget's pre-registration system :)

We have used pre-reg a few times, technically it isn't Fastbreak.
Fastbreak you register for on their website, I did and it was only any use if I wanted to book direct on their website. When I got their I was told we only need to pre-reg, don't bother with Fastbreak, unless anyone has a different experience.

With Pre-reg/full incl a spouse is automatically covered, spouse has no need to hand over docs or sign, only the main driver.
Heres one of the Pre-reg links if anyone does not know it. https://registrations.carrentalsupport.com/index.php?partnercode=11&bookedBrand=Budget

I did Fastbreak last July, take it is the same as what you are talking about wayneg i.e pre reg.
Booked car with Usrentacar, but was unable to log on to Budgets website, emailed Usrentacar and they did it for me. Arrived MCO , went straight to the garage, you have to go up the escalator to the 1st level, and was out in about 5 mins
