Budget Car Rental

anyone have any experiance renting from Budget??? I want to rent a convertable from an airport location and this seems to be the only one with convertables...how are the wait lines???? does anyone know any good codes??? TIA

I am using budget for a mini van in April.

I used a walmart code I got from mousesavers.com

Got what I thought was a good rate. I keep checking back with different codes etc but it is just more expensive, so I am sticking with my reservation.

We've rented from Budget and they were fine. Also they don't charge extra for a spouse to drive. Why are they the only one w/ convertibles? We've gotten conv. from Alamo and Dollar & they are both onsite at MCO too. All 3 were comparable.

You can't even be 1 hour late returning the car or they will charge you. In most other cities this isn't a problem but beware that it is in Orlando. I was 40min late returning a car and was charged for an extra hour + additional fees. When I questioned it they wouldn't even listen to me and refused to do anything about it.

We have had good luck with Budget.
Are you sure Alamo has no convertibles? After you enter your info and the car selection page comes up, look all the way at the bottom and there is a box to scroll for specialty cars. If you still don't see a convertible, I suppose it's possible they are sold out for your dates.
