Budget buster with only one week to go!!!

Well, something (of course) HAD to happen...our air conditioning unit would not turn on last night and needed to be serviced. $500.00 later...OUCH!!

Thankfully, our food and travel is all paid for, but I don't believe that I will be buying many pins this trip. I'm just frustrated that this had to happen NOW.

You can pick up pins for trading at the Character outlet store on International Dr. We found one style for $3.99 on our last trip. We bought 3 or 4 of that one style, and DD traded for ones she liked!

I feel for you. I just spent $500 on my air conditioning and we have a trip planned (not Disney) at the end of the month. It will hurt.

well at least it happened before and not after. What would you have done if you spent that much at disney with little left over? Would not be fun to sleep in a house for any amount of time with no AC.

Maybe this trip will teach you some more money saving trips at disney. And there's still time to order off ebay for trading.

I want to thank all who posted for refocusing me back on the positive things of life. Yes, I had to spend some money for air conditioning; however, I am going to be walking down the MK one week from now!!! Thanks for turning my lemon into lemonade!

I am right there with you! EVERY year we have something major happen right before and usually right after...I thought we were safe this year...my washer died day before yesterday! UGH! So I got a new one yesterday...at least we will have clean clothes when we are in WDW! Now...I just have to hold my breath for what will happen when we come back! Enjoy your trip....I can't wait!!!!

Add me to the Budget Buster Club. We are leaving for WDW in 6 days and in the last 10 days:

2 new tires
brake job
new cell phone (washed it)
replaced lcd on new laptop (DH dropped it)
ultrasound bill went from $45 to $500

All of these "issues" will only make our vacations that much more magical (and necessary)!
