Which is better do you all think? We are only going for a short trip but with DH being an amputee it so much easier to rent a car which actually gets him closer than the Disney Shuttle buses especially at the end of the day.

I've only dealt with National in the past and had a good experience but their price is $30.00 or more higher than the once I'm asking about.

As always thanks,

We've used both Budget and Dollar and both were great- we had no problems, however it did seem like Dollar's car was a little dirtier, but that could have just been our experience.

We used Budget last September and they were fine.. there was no line and no waiting... We got our car and were ready to go in about 10 mins, however it was a slow time of the year.

I wouldn't hesitate to use either again if they gave me the best rate.

I've only rented cars through Enterprise, but this time I got the best rate with Avis. I would go with whoever is on-site at the airport and gives you the best rate.

We always rent from Dollar. We always compare rates and always end up with them. We've never had any trouble at all.

We've rented from National one time, Dollar most of the time and this time for the first time, Budget. Budget is still the cheapest for 10 days for a minivan for 8/21-8/31, a total of 400.05 including taxes etc...I don't think I will get it any cheaper than that. (Though I always have that small hope):bounce:

I am curious too...as we only rent onsite much easier...only good rate so far is Avis at $132.00 for 4 nights....Oct 21-25

Hi
Is there a site you go to that compares prices for you or do you have to check out each companies website?
Thanks much

think i saw a spot on www.thrify.com that allows you to compare rates to the price thrifty is quoting.....they must have a search engine that goes out to check the other sites for you

in the end though, as you state the only way to know for sure is to go to each car rental's site to see what they are offering

you can use www.expedia.com and www.travelocity.com and even www.southwest.com have car rental quotes using various companies

you might also want to download sidestep, it will allow comparison of car prices, hotel prices etc....

just do a search on google for "sidestep" it will take you to the website where you download a plugin for you browser

I have no experience with Dollar, but we have gotten both Budget and Alamo many times via Priceline. Alamo is okay, especially if you like choosing your own car, but their line tends to be very long. Budget's line is usually more reasonable, but their cars tend to be more beat up. They are in my good graces, though, as they once upgraded me from economy to a Ford Escape.
