I solved the mystery!!! Buddies are back. I took a shot at deleting the disboards cookie. It worked. Buddy list is back.

Glad you figured this out Dan!! I try to remember to clear all my cookies from the computer once a week or so....it's a real pain trying to remember passwords so I normally try to avoid it if at all possible. I never think to check out my buddy list to see who's on...I always check out the little green dots!!

I really try to never clear cookies (I do allow them selectedly). If I have to clear the DIS one (seems it is the only one that ever gives us headaches ), I do a search for only that one (disboards.com) and delete only it. As for the green dot,

, it is only effective if the person is on AND visible. I mostly use the buddy function to let me easily send PM's.
