Bucketheadland!?!?

Does anyone know about this? Is this place for real? Who is this Buckethead character? My friend told me that he was raised by chickens. Is he really a musician? Why is he so DARN CREEPY?!

Okay, I have no idea what you're talking about, but there is a character in a book I read many years ago who was a musician who was called "Buckethead". He was called that because he wore a bucket over his head to hide his identity when he performed live.

Perhaps whomever it is you're speaking of read the same book.

Ah, yes, Buckethead...I believe he replaced someone in Guns and Roses some time ago...

Never heard of "Bucketheadland", but I do know that Buckethead is a guitar player who's known for wearing Kentucky Fried Chicken buckets on his head. He used to be a full-fledged, touring member of Guns N' Roses, and is one of the 1262 musicians to have played on the (permanently?) delayed GN'R release "Chinese Democracy".

Buckethead is a very strange, but very good, rock guitarist named Brian Carroll who gets his name from the fact that he wears a fried chicken bucket on his head (along with a white plastic mask). He reportedly created the Buckethead persona to emphasize his music over his personal identity.

Most mainstream music fans probably haven't heard much of his music. He was for a time part of Axl Rose's reconstituted Guns 'n Roses from 2000-2002. This included an appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2002, which is the only time many mainstream music fans may have seen Buckethead perform.

Bucketheadland is his official Web site and it has an amusement park theme, but no such place exists off of the Interweb, AFAIK. I think the raised by chickens idea may be a fictional consruct too.

And he has collabrated with Viggo Mortensen on seven or so CD's. Yum..... (Viggo not Buckethead - he is creepy).....
