Am looking for information in the bucket of chicken people are always talking about at Trails End. I think that is the way to go the first night we get to the cabins. Any info would be great. Thanks!

Ah, the GAG (Giddyup And Go) take out from Trails End.

A great value. Down at Pioneer Hall, there are 3 sets of doors - Hoop Dee Doo on the far left, Trails End sit down on the right where the Cast Member podium is on the porch, and the middle double doors which is where you go to place your order at the cash register.

As a note to others, you can buy the sides separately and the price isn't bad if, for example, you're grilling some meat and want something to go with it.

Thanks Bama_ed. I knew you would have the answer. Just finalizing my itinerary or our trip. I think this is much better way to go the first evening we are there rather than try to rush over to Ohana's. I can't remember can you see the fireworks from the beach or just the electrical parade?

Thanks Again!

I understand completely. Sometimes we arrived at the Fort late afternoon and by the time we set up the popup and unloaded, the choices were delivered pizza, TE takeout, or a run to the grocery store (already hungry and tired).

Here are the pix of where you can get your TE takeout.

You can see the fireworks over the MK and the EWP from the Fort beach. The fireworks music is piped in too. A few of the low fireworks end up behind the trees on Discovery Island but they aren't many.

Dependind on your schedule you can get the GAG and eat it back at the cabin and then go to the fireworks/ewp but they also keep stiff paper plates and plastic KFS behind the cash register if you ask for them and you can eat at the picnic tables on the TE side porch looking at the playground and the beach behind it.

Do whatever's relaxing and get off on the right foot.

I have never thought about doing this, I might try it this time if it's not raining by the time we finish setting up). :) It's too bad they don't slip this menu in the hand-out info they give you at check-in I might remember to do the take out thing. LOL!
Thanks for posting it.
