On WDWig site it is mentioned to have bubbles for the sail away party. Do people really bring these?

I had them on the cruise I went on and there were a lot of other people with them also. There were no winds so it looked great.
:earsgirl:

The lady at Perfect Gift (no, not Shirley) recommended them to include in our gift basket. We ended up forgetting them in our room for sailaway!!

I'd try Toys R Us. They usually have bubbles all year.

I just bought some "edible bubbles" at our local science museum. They were blowing them in the store and it was a HOOT to watch my kids catching them on their tongues like snowflakes. Thought maybe I'd bring those along next time and let people think my kids are totally WEIRD! :)

Your local walmart should have both the reg kind and the edible bubbles and the ones called catch a bubble that dont evaporate right away...

They are all in different spots so ask if ya cant find them :) -em

You can find the small wedding ones at party stores also.

I bought the little white ones that are used for weddings at a party store that lbgraves mentioned.
I bought a bunch and passed them out to the kids on board, they loved them. :jumping1:

You can buy bubbles in a dollar store all year round...
and in any toy store...

And; you know...come to think of it...in WalMart-they sell these little tiny bottles of bubbles in a 12-pk in the party aisle.....

Sounds like a really nice idea to have gotten some and give them out to kids onboard...:wave2: I may have to do that too!!

Thanks~

I took our leftover wedding bubbles on the cruise and gave them out to other children (and kept some for us of course). The kids were so excited!

I would highly recommend against the "sticky bubbles" otherwise known as catchable bubbles. They stick to everything, leaving a film. I had numerous bubble stains on my clothes, and peeled bubble residue off my camera, which had been around my neck during sail-off.

Are you refering to the catchable bubbles that will not pop? You're not talking about the regular easy to pop bubbles are you?

Sorry for the stuid question but, I wanted to make sure since DH just bought a new camera.

We bought some at drugstore near our hotel in Orlando and took them on the Wonder. We were blowing them from our verandah as we sailed away and the bubbles floated all along the side of the ship. I heard a lot of "that's a neat idea" comments as the bubbles passed by other verandahs.
