Saturday was Provincetown all day!!We ate a great breakfast and headed out for the hour plus drive to Dog City AKA Provincetown !!Today we saw hardly any pups
Dan was convinced Carol and I were making the whole thing up!! We were able to shop a bit before the time for out Whale Watch. As we knew the time between the Whale Watch and the Dune Buggy Ride was not long we would have to find somewhere close by !!!
Sooo I hurried off to check out a few restaurants close by !!The Squealing Pig had been mentioned and I checked out a couple one the way Governor Bradford was one , looked nice but I had a feeling it would take longer than we had soo I kept looking .
I founfd The Squealing Pig and was reading the menu when a "woman" who was outiside smoking started talking to me !! Her breath nearly intoxicated me
After the first sentence she informed me she was Gay and her wife was inside , she continued to talk as I tried to finish reading !! I started to leave and she called me back and smiling asked me if I wanted to join her for a drink!!
Dan was not around to capture this on camera as I am sure he would have been only to happy to do !! So NO it was not Dan who got HIT on but me !!!
Carol is feeling so vindicated that it has now also happened to me !!
When I returned and told Dan , shall we just say he was amused !!
So Rosie's Rendevous over we headed down the pier
Dan and some of the guys looked around the store attached to the Pirate's Museum while I waited in line to board . Dan and Marv joined me
We boarded and I grabbed us table seats
We weren't far out and we saw Whales
The sightings were great and I was able to get a lot more pix than in June as you can see. We headed back and had the rare opportunity to also see dolphins , those I did not get a good shot of but it was awesome to see them and not to far out of the harbor !!
Whale Watch over we headed to a fast food place I had located after being HIT on . It was called BURGER QUEEN!!!
The food wwasn't bad and the price was right !!
Leaving there we caught sight of a young man, tall and dark, wearing a muscle top and VERY tight black pants AND womans high heeled shoes . Mark , looked up at his face and bent down as he sacanned the whole effect and especially the shoes and then looked up in bewilderment at his face. Dan was rolling !!!
Of course we saw other let's say colorful characters . Provincetown is definately interesting
Coming up a Dune Buggy Ride and A sunset over the Cape !!
Have been to P-Town many times...not my cup of tea.
