BTMRR with children question

We leave for DL one week from today! At dinner last night we were discussing rides and realized our four year old likely is ready for BTMRR this year. That means my husband will need to take both our six year old and our four year old on the ride--my back is not up for it at all (non-negotiable).

Is it possible for him to take them both on at the same time? He can't remember if they'll be able to sit three across in the ride. If it helps, he is six feet tall and average in build and both my children (ages 4 and 6) are tall and slim for their ages.

I think they should be fine. We have ridden 3 across before (myself, my mom and my DD).

DH, DS9, and DS10 have managed to sit three across before.

Should be no problem we just rode...me, DH and DD3 with plenty of room.
