BTMRR Rehab - it's on the official WDW website

Sad to say that BTMRR will close from August 24 - Nov 19 which means we will miss riding on our favourite ride in September. Can't believe it as the same thing happened on our last trip way back in Nov 2000 - bad timing or what!?!

So all you October visitors will also miss out.

We come home on Nov. 22nd so I hope they keep to schedule and reopen on 19th otherwise we will miss it.

Also, the Magic of Disney Animation will be closed during Sep & Oct .

We were due to be going to MGM on 2nd September but fortunately we can jiggle our plans round & go the week before.

I do feel sorry for folk travelling later this year.

Big Thunder Mountain Rail Road--great coaster. I'll miss it when we go in October

Pooey. This is my fave ride. Last year we rode it right after the Headless Horseman's parade one MNSSHP night - just as all the fireworks were going off. It was just magical. We were really looking forward to doing it again this year
