... if a 3 1/4 year old who is only 98cm tall can ride BTM? The official minimums are 3 years and 102cm. Unfortunately, DD is a bit of a shorty! Takes after her mother, that one! :teeth:

If she does not reach the height restriction then she won't be able to ride, they check childrens heights before they are allowed on the queue.

Unfortunately not. The height restrictions are there for safety reason. My DD was 6 before she was able to go on :)

Thanks for your replies.

Elder DD just scraped though by 1/4 inch last year for SM2. Noticed this year that the minimum age for SM2 has been raised to 10 (from 8). Just wondered if they were less strict on BTM as it doesn't go upside down. I certainly don't want her falling out though!

Oh well, just over a week to go. Looks like it might be a bit hot over there!

They were being very strict about the height last week and we saw several kids turned away (even saw them trying to stand on tip toes!!).

It was also extremely hot but the mist sprays and fans were great!!

My 5 year old was very excited about BTM, and just got through the height requirement. However, it was a bit too fast for him. so i wouldn't take a younger kid on it.

my 4 year old loved it and wanted to go on it again and again ,all children are different and you don't know how they are going to react to something.

is there anywhere i can find a list of rides and there height restrictions. DS is 110cms and will want to ride everything he can.

Try taking her on Casey Junior! Its like a younger equivalent of BTM i went on it when i was too small to go on BTM and loved it just as much as i love BTM now!!! Hopefully we will be taking my lil sister on casey jnr when we go!!!!!!!!!!!
