CROWDS - Ya know, I don't think Disneyland does a good job of sweeping people out who are not ticketed for the party. At WDW the cast member form human chain lines and literally sweep each land. You have to show a badge. I think part of the crowd issue is that there are people who just get away with staying in the park even if they aren't ticketed.
There was one point we were trying to get through Frontierland and it was wall to wall people no one moving. That would be frustrating with a lot of little kids.
And like a previous poster said, The fog on the water, the acapella singers singing Grim Grinning Ghosts, the FIREWORKS! All of it is great atmosphere!
