I loved both Bruno and the RHCP.

Considering how long the Chili Peppers have been around and how old I am, I have never seen them live.

My teenager just got Bruno tickets this morning for his tour.

We snagged six tickets for the Raleigh NC show this morning!!! Can't wait!

YES! Exactly what I was thinking too, a bit of James Brown, Elvis and MJ! Love it!

Depending on how he wears his hair, I swear he could do a remake of La Bamba and be Ritchie Valens. On other days he looks so much like the 1980s Michael Jackson to me.

Totally saw Richie Valens in him too. He has a very unique style compared to other singers/performers nowadays. Love the classic dance moves he does. And his hair, awesome.

I thought the peppers looked silly without shirts at their age. Might as well just come on stage with a sock over their junk like before. Lol.

And RHCP's lead guitarist (sorry I don't know his name) came out and admitted that he was simply playing "air guitar" during the performance and that his part was pre-recorded.

I just saw Flea's response to the air guitar "controversy" and I have to admit, I have more respect for him than before now that I've read that.

Almost the whole show was prerecorded. The only thing live was Bruno Mars and Anthony Kiedis' vocals and when Bruno Mars was on drums.

Bruno and his "people" are very smart. Put on a fantastic Super Bowl half time show and then put tickets for your tour on sale the very next day. I tried to get tickets using my laptop and my iPad at the same time. Sold out within minutes!

Yep. It sold out real quick! I know a lot of ppl who werent able to get tickets either. Yet i was one of the lucky ones, i got it! I was frustrated at first cause my ticketmaster app didnt work. So i used the browser on my phone...and i got lucky that way. Boy that was nerve wrecking. LOL! (btw I was sitting in a parking lot LATE for a 10am appointment....all for Bruno tix).

The numbers are in and Bruno Mars awesome Half time performance during Super Bowl XLVIII was the most watched in television history. 115.3 million viewers tuned in to watch an energetic half time show by Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. That figure surpasses both the 110.8 million delivered by Beyonce last year and the prior record of 114.0 million set by Madonna two years ago.
Overall, SUPER BOWL XLVIII averaged a spectacular 111.5 million viewers to become the new most-watched program in television history, eclipsing the prior mark of 111.3 million set two years ago by Super Bowl XLVI.

The same thing happened with Beyonce last year, she did superbowl announced a tour that night and getting tickets was crazy. I would keep watching tickets because closer toward the concert date Ticketmaster released tickets. She also ended up adding an additional leg of the tour going to many cities 2-5 times!
