So we are looking at going to Universal early in the Christmas season this year. We will be there for probably six or seven nights staying most likely at the RPR. We are planning on doing the Christmas party at Disney one night and spending a day at sea world which gives us a good four or five days at Universal. It seems to me that this should allow us to have a pretty relaxed time.

With that in mind I thought it might be fun to do what we do at home to have a nice relaxed time. Every Sunday we go to brunch either just the two of us or with friends and I thought it might be fun to do this at Universal, perhaps several times if there are places to warrant it.

With that in mind: anyone have a good recommendation for bunch places?

RPR has The Islands and HRH has The Kitchen.

Both are excellent.

I don't know of any true "brunch" spots. At least where I live, a true brunch will serve a mixture of breakfast and lunch foods starting mid-morning through mid-afternoon. To my knowledge, The Islands at RPR and The Kitchen at HRH both serve a full breakfast with a buffet option, but I think both end around 11am and its breakfast foods. Someone will correct me and let me know if that's changed though.

But regardless, I agree that the Islands and the Kitchen are both delicious! We prefer the Kitchen at HRH.

I think toothsome offers brunch type fare or at least they offer breakfast items all day. My son was able to get waffles for dinner and my niece ordered crepes. Not sure on omelettes and such though, I think the hotels have more variety in that department.
