Breakfast is my favourite meal to visit a restaurant for - I love Kona Cafe and have it booked already.

Any thoughts on which is better between Boma and The Wave? Or if there's a better place, please recommend.

Thanks! :)

We're tying brunch at The Wave for the first time in September! Although we've only eaten at Boma for dinner we love it also. The only reason we didn't choose Boma this time for brunch/breakfast is because of how convenient it will be to get a park afterwards from The Wave (walk to MK, or monorail or Epcot).

Can't wait to hear what you choose!

We love both, but my nod goes to The Wave and here are my reasons
1. Proximity to park plus transportation
2. Boma is very popular, therefore, more crowded
3. Food is equal is quality, though very different in tastes, love them both for that
4. The Wave buffet is always fresh, great offerings, with a couple unique items in the mix

Another great choice(or 2 :D)Trails End and Olivias

Both are good and you can't go wrong as others have stated. Pros & cons on both IMHO
Pros:The Wave - close to MK and monorail. Good. Fresh. Value. Ala Carte menu as well. Usually not overly crowded.
Cons: Non-Disney theming. It is very modern and pretty inside but it is very non-Disney. Limited menu. While there is a fantastic variety of food, it is one of the more scant breakfast buffets.

Pros: Boma - YUM. Great variety and one of the larger breakfast buffets as far as variety. Jamba juice. Great theming. Unique food as well as classics.
Close to AK.
Cons: Far from everything else. A bit more pricey than other places. Unique foods. While I find this a pro some find it a con and are not willing to try some of the out of the box selections. Noisey. It's open and can be crowded and noisy in Boma for both breakfast and dinner.

I have to also give props to Trails End breakfast buffet and to Capitan's Grill. If you want to venture into Epcot, Garden Grill is also a great option.

Enjoy.

I wouldn't call the Wave brunch, it has a breakfast buffet in addition to an a la carte menu but doesn't really fit into that brunch category. I like them both, Boma is way more crowded but fits more into the brunch category. If you don't have a car, it can be very time consuming to get to AKL. Both are very good, Boma is more diverse in its selections so it really just depends if you want traditional or not.
