I'm fairly new to solo TS and, although it's getting better, I still struggle with self-consciousness. (Skipper Canteen, Tony's, Chefs de France, Mama Melrose and Tiffins were okay. Boma and the HEA dessert party were kinda awkward for me.) Has anyone ever done the California Grill Brunch at the Top on their own?

Thanks!

I doing my first solo trip in October. I understand and am forcing myself to try a few TS - California Grill for dinner is reserved for my first Thursday evening.

I haven't done the Brunch, but I did eat dinner solo at California Grill. Like you, I was a little uneasy about solo TS dining at that time, and told them at check in. I asked, if possible, if I could have a seat with a view of something to watch while I ate, to make the time go by more easily. They were very nice and gave me a nice table by a window, where I could watch the boats and monorail. Also, my server was very nice and everything went well.

Thanks for the tip, I think I may try this when I check in. I should have time if there is a wait for a table. My MK FPs don't start until 4:00ish.

I wanted to do this brunch on my upcoming solo trip, but couldn’t fit it in with the rest of my plans. I wouldn’t hesitate to go there solo.

I went solo to the California Grill Brunch last year and had a great time. I always take my iPad so I have something to do if I want to but I didn't read a lot because there was so much happening. I was in the middle area facing outwards so I could look at the view. There was live music playing. After a couple of mimosas you just let everything wash over you. The sushi was fantastic and the rest of the food amazing. I couldn't decide what to have as the entree (the Eggs Benedict with lobster or the pancakes) so I asked my server and she bought me some of each. I've also been to the California Grill solo twice at night. The first time I had a window seat and had a great view of the fireworks. The second time I was more in the middle but the people next to me started chatting and it was nice. Don't hesitate to eat by yourself. Just take something to do if you've had enough watching the view or the other people.

If you want to go, GO! No one cares if you're solo or with someone (and if they did, you shouldn't care what they think at all!).

It's your life, and you should enjoy it!

I love going places alone!

I am torn between trying this or Maria and Enzo's brunch during my solo trip in September. Why is brunch only on Sunday's, lol??? I have also been wanting to try the Trail's End brunch.
