My wife and I have booked the Brunch at the Top in the Californian Grill for one Sunday during our trip.

I understand that we can return to the Contemporary Hotel later in the evening and watch the fireworks from the top as part of the Brunch reservation.

I've just checked the Magic Kingdom event calendar for the day we booked, and noticed that the normal fireworks are not on for that night as it's a Mickey's Halloween Party with fireworks at 22:15.

Are we still permitted to return and watch the Halloween Party fireworks just the same as if the standard firework show was running or will this be an issue?

Additionally, I understand that valet parking is included with the Brunch reservation. Does this also include the return to see the fireworks or will I need to park/pay at the TTC and get the resort monorail back to the Contemporary in the evening?

I'm not sure about parking, but if fireworks viewing is part of the brunch reservation, then you will get to see the Halloween fireworks.

Yes, you can return to see the fireworks on the same evening. When you check in at the podium on the second floor you will have to show them your receipt from the Sunday brunch.

On the TiW site it says complimentary valet parking is only while you dine at the resort so I don't know if you would get free valet parking when you return at night. It would probably depend on how closely they adhere to the rules of the TiW program.

Edited to add: Oops, sorry, i did not realize valet parking was part of the brunch. I know that with paid valet parking it is good for return visits (or for valet parking at other resorts) on the same day, but I don't know whether this applies upon returning to the CR when it is complimentary.

While the OP didn't make any reference at all to TiW, it would be safe- even best - to expect the same valet parking rules and charges would be in effect for every meal/guest.
